Calafiori will start for Italy in the EURO 2024 match against Albania.

According to Football Italia sources in the Italy camp in Germany, Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori will face Albania in the Euro 2024 opener.

The event begins on Saturday at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT) in Dortmund.

They are in the same group with Spain and Croatia, therefore a win in the opening match is critical.
