The Southampton manager is furious at the contentious Liverpool penalty call.

Ivan Juric, manager of Southampton, feels Liverpool should have been given a penalty in the second half of their 3-1 loss at Anfield on Saturday. Will Smallbone gave the Saints an unexpected lead in stoppage time of the first half, but Darin Nunez quickly erased the lead. Mo Salah scored two penalty penalties in the second half to give Liverpool the victory, but Juric thought the first one was unfair. Brazil World Cup Qualifiers Squad for March 2025: The Return of Neymar Jr.


Nearly 17 months after suffering a knee injury against Uruguay that sidelined him for over a year, Neymar Jr. has returned to the Brazil national team.

Following a failed stint in the Saudi Pro League with Al Hilal, Neymar returned to his childhood club, Santos FC. Since returning to Brazil, the 33-year-old has played in seven games, scoring six goals in his last four.

Neymar is the Seleçao's all-time leading scorer with 79 goals, and he is second only to Cafu as the most capped player of the world's most successful national team. The former Barcelona player has made his desire to compete in his fourth FIFA World Cup in 2026 abundantly clear.

Brazil manager Dorival Júnior announced his full squad on live TV. Neymar posted a picture on Instagram of himself watching the broadcast with the caption, "Happy to be back."

Without their leader and star player, Brazil struggled in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers. The Seleçao is currently ranked fifth in the standings, seven points behind bitter rivals and leaders Argentina. Finishing sixth or higher guarantees direct qualification for the Conmebol World Cup, but Brazil's history dictates that it finish as high as possible.

Neymar will make his comeback in two thrilling games against the previous two Copa América finalists. They will host Colombia on March 20 before returning to the Estadio Monumental on March 25 for a new chapter in one of international soccer's most intense rivalries against Argentina.
