Serie A Clash: Juventus Aims To Overcome Napoli's Dominance In Turin.

Few fixtures in Italian football carry the weight, tension, and symbolic importance of Juventus versus Napoli. It is more than a league match; it is a cultural confrontation, a battle of ideologies, and a recurring struggle for power within Serie A. As Juventus prepare to host Napoli in Turin, the narrative is unmistakable: can Juventus finally overcome Napoli’s growing dominance, or will the visitors once again assert themselves as Italy’s most progressive force? This clash arrives at a pivotal moment in the season. For Juventus, it represents a chance to reclaim authority at home, where recent meetings against Napoli have been marked by frustration and unfulfilled promise. For Napoli, it is an opportunity to reinforce a psychological edge built through confidence, cohesion, and modern tactical superiority. The stakes could hardly be higher. Historical Context: A Rivalry That Reflects Italian Football’s Shifting Balance Juventus and Napoli have long represented contrasting identities ...

Brazil names their Copa América squad, with Casemiro sidelined.

Brazil has chosen its lineup for the 2018 Copa América in the United States.

The Seleçao heads to the United States after finishing second to Argentina in the 2021 edition.

This time around, the South American powers have been assigned to Group D alongside Paraguay, Colombia, and Costa Rica.

Some prominent names have been left at home for the tournament, including Manchester United's Casemiro and Tottenham attacker Richarlison.

Speaking to Globo Esporte, the Brazil manager stated (via Manchester Evening News): "Casemiro deserves our respect. I spoke with him in Manchester three months ago and described what I was thinking at the time, about his and his team's circumstances, and what I need. Although he was not called up this time, he is still eligible for future call-ups.He knows exactly what I think of him, and that is what matters. Tomorrow, I will speak with him again and discuss what I believe will happen in the future, because he is a player who deserves regard, affection, and respect. We will continue to believe in one of his players.

It is important mentioning that Dorival does not rule out Casemiro's future call-ups.

However, I don't believe Casemiro deserves to feel cheated because his performance levels have declined dramatically over the last year.

Casemiro has struggled with the pace of the Premier League this season and appears to be on his way out of Manchester United, with Saudi Arabia showing an interest.

Moving to the Middle East will not benefit Casemiro's international career. Or has Casemiro already missed out on future international tournaments?

Only time will tell, but it's terrible to see a top talent regress.
