Mohamed Salah wins Footballer of the Year award to match Thierry Henry record.


Alessia Russo, a striker for Arsenal and England, won Footballer of the Year for the first time, while Mohamed Salah won it for the third time after his goals helped propel Liverpool to the Premier League victory.

After scoring 22 goals in the Women's Super League and Women's Champions League this season, Russo accepted the women's award from Khadija Shaw, a striker for Manchester City.
