Harry Kane puts bow on top of best personal scoring campaign 🎁

     

    While Bayern Munich has already lost the Bundesliga crown, the only bright spot this season has been Harry Kane's form.

The Englishman scored twice as Bayern easily defeated Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday afternoon.

The former Spurs player scored a brace, including one from the penalty spot, to increase his season total to 35 goals in 31 Bundesliga games and 42 in all competitions, a personal record.

In the process, the 30-year-old became the first Bundesliga rookie to score or assist against every league opponent in a single season.

It's only personal consolation for Kane, who appears to have abandoned London for the comforts of Bavaria in an attempt to get closer to silverware.

However, breaking records and pushing your career goalscoring total for club and nation to 400 is no easy task.

In brighter news for Kane and Bayern, they are still alive in the Champions League, facing the daunting prospect of a semi-final against Real Madrid.
