The Southampton manager is furious at the contentious Liverpool penalty call.

Ivan Juric, manager of Southampton, feels Liverpool should have been given a penalty in the second half of their 3-1 loss at Anfield on Saturday. Will Smallbone gave the Saints an unexpected lead in stoppage time of the first half, but Darin Nunez quickly erased the lead. Mo Salah scored two penalty penalties in the second half to give Liverpool the victory, but Juric thought the first one was unfair. There didn't appear to be much in the area as Smallbone and Nunez collided, but referee Lewis Smith gave the penalty. Juric, the Southampton manager, is furious at Liverpool's penalty call. The Premier League chief confirms when Manchester City's FFP case will be heard.


 The Premier League has stated that Manchester City's financial fair play complaint will be heard shortly.

Pep Guardiola's team is accused of 115 violations of the league's Profit and Sustainability standards between 2009 and 2018.

A conclusive hearing into the Blues' accusations has yet to be scheduled, but Richard Masters has provided a likely date.

According to the Telegraph's Ben Rumsby, the league's CEO indicated that City's appeal will be heard in the "near future".

Pep Guardiola's side may win their sixth title in seven seasons, and fourth in a row, if they can overtake Arsenal at the top.
