Benfica has re-signed midfielder Renato Sanches on an initial loan from Paris Saint-Germain.

Today, the clubs concluded a separate trade to bring Portuguese sensation João Neves to the French capital for €70 million.

And it has now been announced that another transfer has occurred, with former Portuguese teen sensation Sanches heading in the opposite direction.

A former Golden Boy winner in 2016, the 26-year-old has returned to Benfica on loan with the option of making the transfer permanent.

Sanches spent last season on loan at Roma, who decided not to sign him on a long-term deal.
