Aston Villa may have found their new Jack Grealish. 👀.

Jack Grealish left Aston Villa more than three years ago, but it appears they may have finally found a replacement. One of the acquisitions that lessened the damage after Grealish's British transfer record move to Manchester City in 2021 was Leon Bailey. The Jamaican international has blossomed for Unai Emery's team over the last 13 months, despite his lackluster prior performance. Leon Bailey (16) now has as many Premier League assists for Aston Villa as Jack Grealish.   At Ipswich Town, Bailey recorded his 11th assist of the season as Ollie Watkins sealed the Villans' first-half comeback. Since the start of 2023–24, the former Bayer Leverkusen winger has contributed to 20 goal involvements overall. Grealish's total of 16 top-flight assists over three years at Villa Park matched his personal mark from four complete seasons with his hometown club. How many more will he accumulate before all is said and done next May?

Manchester United are reportedly close to completing a deal for Frenkie de Jong.

Manchester United are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign FC Barcelona's Frenkie de Jong. Since Erik ten Hag took over as manager of the club in 2022, no summer has passed without the Dutch midfielder being associated with The Theatre of Dreams. United sorely need to strengthen their midfield options again, as Scott McTominay's future is unknown, and Fulham are set to make an improved second bid for him. Casemiro and Christian Eriksen are two more players whose future at the club is far from certain after this summer. As a result, Ten Hag's staff has been in talks with Paris Saint-Germain about Manuel Ugarte, and they are also reportedly interested in Martin Zubimendi and Youssouf Fofana. Adrien Rabiot is another long-term objective, but according to a recent rumor from Spain cited by football365, "Man Utd have'resumed talks' to finally get a deal over the line for Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong." 🏅Mateta shines as France defeats Egypt, securing a gold medal clash with Spain.

On Monday night, France hosted two Olympic semi-finals. This is what occurred. France advances to the final following a fierce clash with Egypt. In a tense contest, France rallied from a 1-0 deficit to defeat Egypt 2-1 in extra time. After a poor start, France improved just before the interval, with Loïc Badé hitting the post after Joris Chotard's pass. Alexandre Lacazette had a golden opportunity to score in the second half, but he hesitated and ultimately missed the shot. After absorbing all of France's pressure, Egypt proceeded to the other end, where Mahmoud Saber smashed a powerful attempt into the roof of the net. The goal ignited the game, and Hamza Alaa made a wonderful save on a Jean-Philippe Mateta header. France then hit the post twice in quick succession, with Lacazette's shot and Badé's follow-up hitting the woodwork. Les Bleus equalised thanks to a brilliantly weighted ball from Michael Olise, which Mateta converted decisively. France requested for
