Borussia Dortmund is reeling after falling down two goals at home in the first half against winless VfL Bochum.
Following an ugly 5-1 defeat to Stuttgart the previous day, BVB were eager for a home win to stem the flow of negative feelings among their fans. But it was the worst possible start against winless Bochum on Friday at Signal Iduna Park, with two goals conceded in the first 21 minutes, including a calamitous mistake by goalkeeper Gregor Kobel.
Dortmund is now ninth in the Bundesliga league, and their situation could deteriorate significantly by the end of the weekend if they do not improve tonight.
Serhou Guirassy's goal in the dying minutes of the first half gave the hosts hope for a comeback. Could this be the catalyst?
