Stuttgart handily defeated Borussia Dortmund, ending their undefeated start to the Bundesliga season.

Four minutes into the match, Deniz Undav's maneuver past Gregor Kobel put Nuri Şahin's team behind. By the halfway point of the first half, striker Ermedin Demirović's nod gave his team a commanding lead.

Dortmund was unable to establish any kind of rhythm, and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens' attempt was stopped in the last minute of first-half stoppage time before they managed to register an effort on goal.

That error proved costly since Stuttgart extended their lead even more in the second half when Enzo Millot added a third goal shortly after the hour.

Serhou Guirassy, a former player for Stuttgart, gave Dortmund a goal back, but any dreams of a rallying cry were dashed as it took the home team just five minutes to reclaim their three-goal advantage, with El-Bilal Touré scoring just one minute after substituting.

Undav scored again, adding the finishing touches to a crushing defeat in Stuttgart. There was still time for a fifth goal.
