Manchester City have signed Brazilian international forward Kerolin Nicoli on a three-and-a-half-year contract.
WSL Full-Time was notified of the news via an official club press release from The Citizens this afternoon.
Manchester City has signed the 25-year-old from American National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) club North Carolina Courage. Kerolin has spent the last three years with Courage, scoring 17 goals in 38 NWSL appearances. She won back-to-back NWSL Challenge Cups with Courage in 2022 and 2023, and she was named NWSL Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 2023.
Kerolin has 45 international caps for Brazil, scoring six goals in that time. She won the Copa América Femenina in 2022 and earned a silver medal at the Olympic Games last summer.
Kerolin stated upon joining Manchester City, "I'm so excited to be here. I believe there were many reasons why I chose City, one of which was to play in the Champions League.
"I believe the players in the WSL are extremely technical, and the team is compact. I want to improve, learn new things, and come here to be challenged. I also want to play against defenders who will compete in the next World Cup in Brazil in 2027.

"I'm very excited to be part of the team. I have a lot of confidence, but I know I have to keep working hard to be successful here. There will be some differences between here and where I've previously played, but I'm very excited.
Kerolin becomes Manchester City's third signing in the January transfer window.
