Feyenoord manager Pascal Bosschaart praised his team for their monumental effort in defeating AC Milan and reaching the Champions League last 16.

If Feyenoord thought they were in dreamland after defeating Milan at De Kuip seven days ago, they were taken to a whole new level when they managed to complete the job and qualify.

The Rotterdam club had a large injury list going into the game, having lost star player Santiago Gimenez to the Rossoneri near the end of the winter window, as well as Quentin Timber in the first leg.

They fell behind after only 36 seconds when Gimenez scored from close range against his former club, but Theo Hernandez's red card changed the game, and Julian Carranza came off the bench to score the winning goal.

Bosschaart was present in the press conference room at San Siro after the final whistle to share his thoughts on what was an incredibly memorable night for the club, as reported by Milan News.
