Barcelona and Inter Milan scored six goals in a Champions League semi-final classic.

Lamine Yamal and Denzel Dumfries shared top billing as Barcelona and Inter Milan were unable to separate after a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.

Dumfries set up Marcus Thuram for a spectacular finish just 30 seconds, the fastest goal in a winners League semi-final, before the Dutchman acrobatically extended the Serie A winners' lead.

Yamal put the LaLiga leaders back in the game with a candidate for goal of the season on the 17-year-old's 100th Barcelona appearance, and Ferran Torres levelled from six yards to cap a thrilling first half.

Dumfries restored Inter's lead just after the hour mark, but they were promptly pulled back when Raphinha's long-range drive cannoned off the goalframe and struck Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer before going in.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan's goal was disallowed for offside, while Yamal hit the crossbar at the other end, leaving everything to play for in next Tuesday's second leg at the San Siro.

A breathless first half began with Inter seizing the lead nearly immediately after kickoff, with Thuram taking advantage of Inigo Martinez's slip to audaciously backheel into the net.

Torres, filling in for the injured Robert Lewandowski, fired wide as Barcelona attempted to rally, but Dumfries, who provided the cross for Thuram's jaw-dropping opener, scored a spectacular goal himself.

Francesco Acerbi headed Federico Dimarco's corner towards goal, and Dumfries responded promptly by bicycle kicking high past Wojciech Szczesny in the 21st minute, leaving the hosts stunned.

Barcelona, who defeated Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final over the weekend in a taxing affair that lasted to extra time, needed some motivation, and three minutes later, Yamal delivered it.

The teenager brushed off Thuram on the right flank before slipping past Mkhitaryan into the area and curling a left-footed attempt in off the post for the match's third and most impressive goal.

Yamal may have had a second after another scintillating run, but Sommer had to tip his shot from close the byline over the bar.

However, Barcelona levelled in the 38th minute when Pedri's cross to the back post was met by Raphinha cushioning a header back across goal and into the path of the onrushing Torres to tap in.

Lautaro Martinez pulled up on the stroke of half-time, and the Inter captain was replaced at the restart, but the visitors regained the lead again when Dumfries scored his second after 63 minutes.

It was a straightforward play; Hakan Calhanoglu's corner to the back post was just too high for Yann Aurel Bisseck, but Dumfries sprang above Dani Olmo to finish.

Inter, on the other hand, were pegged back once more, with their lead lasting only one minute and 53 seconds when a corner was returned to Raphinha, whose 25-yard rocket struck the underside of the crossbar and went in via the unfortunate Sommer.

Mkhitaryan bundled in as Barcelona's defence was exposed once more, but the Armenian was offside by the smallest of margins, while Yamal chipped off the bar and Sommer turned over another Raphinha piledriver as the game ended level.
