5️⃣ massive moves are expected to take place in August.

We're officially halfway through the transfer season, and while Euro 2024 has dominated our attention this summer, there have still been plenty of huge transactions. And there's still lots more to come.

From Victor Osimhen's eventual departure from SSC Napoli to Manchester United's pursuit of another centre-back, here are the most significant transactions we anticipate in August.

1. Romelu Lukaku to SSC Napoli.

Of sure, Antonio Conte will sign Romelu Lukaku. Of course he is. Conte's favourite player, who led Inter to their first Scudetto in 2021 under his tutelage, is expected to join the manager's new team SSC Napoli this summer. Given Napoli's need for a replacement for Victor Osimhen (more on him later), as well as Lukaku's strong Serie A scoring record of 70 goals in 129 games, this transaction makes a lot of sense.

2. Federico Chiesa to Arsenal.

Federico Chiesa was once regarded as one of international football's top wide forwards. That was before he had a catastrophic knee injury that would sideline him for the next three years. The injury has caused so much concern for Juventus that they are willing to let the player leave for about €20 million this summer. And, despite his injury difficulties, €20 million for Chiesa still sounds like a good deal, doesn't it? The wide forward has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League this summer, with Chelsea and Arsenal among the high-profile suitors.

Given Arsenal's need for quality protection for Bukayo Saka, signing Chiesa would make sense.

3. Matthijs de Ligt to Manchester United.

After Leny Yoro was sighted on crutches just two friendly games into his Manchester United career, it is evident that the club will need to sign another centre-back this summer. That center-back may and should be Matthijs de Ligt. The Dutch international had played his finest football for Ajax under current United manager Erik ten Hag, and he might recover that form with his direction at Old Trafford.

4. Adrien Rabiot to Manchester United.

Adrien Rabiot, who became a free agent after his contract with Juventus expired at the end of June, has apparently received numerous offers in recent weeks. Real Madrid, Liverpool, AC Milan, and Chelsea have all been connected with Rabiot, but Manchester United appear to be his most likely destination at the moment. Will this be a good signing? Given his performance over the last six months, definitely not.

5. Victor Osimhen to Paris Saint-Germain.

Victor Osimhen's departure from Napoli has been widely discussed over the previous year, and, thank God, it appears like we will be able to stop talking about it shortly. With Chelsea, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain all interested in the Nigerian star, it is unclear where he will end up, but we believe the latter will win the race. The Ligue 1 champions have the money and need to replace Kylian Mbappe before the transfer window closes on August 30.

Rodri of Manchester City criticizes Real Madrid's tactics following their Champions League defeat: I only saw one squad.

Rodri complained about Real Madrid's tactics after Manchester City's painful Champions League quarter-final loss, saying he "saw only one team" striving to win. City's European title defence came to an end in agony on Wednesday at the Etihad Stadium, with the Spanish giants winning 4-3 in penalties after a 1-1 draw on the night made the tie 4-4 on aggregate.  The holders dominated the match, with 33 shots on goal to the visitors' eight, but Real defended deep to frustrate them and ultimately extinguish their dreams of a second consecutive triple. City midfielder Rodri stated, "To be honest, I only saw one team. They defended well. They knew how to suffer, and we know how resilient Real Madrid is. "But, in my opinion, we should take that many chances; yet, this is the trick of this competition. They understand how to play it. We congratulate them. "We gave all, and there is nothing to regret. This can occasionally be football. This demonstrat...

Barcelona's final attempt to register Dani Olmo will face a court battle.

Barcelona's chances of having Dani Olmo and Pau Victor available for the rest of the season appear to be dwindling. After missing the deadline to remain registered for the remainder of the season, Barcelona delivered La Liga all of the necessary documentation for the sale of their VIP seats, a deal worth an estimated €110 million that would allow them to do so. However, due to the missing deadline, La Liga would not allow Barcelona to keep Olmo and Victor registered, as rules prohibit players from being registered twice. As a result, Barcelona's sole contractual option is to file a court appeal to their decision. According to MD, they have a variety of legal options. They may claim force majeure, which refers to unforeseeable situations that prevent them from assembling the documentation for La Liga, but legal experts say that is unlikely to qualify for that verdict. However, according to the Catalan daily, the most likely argument is that the registration period be extended...

Borussia Dortmund is 'considering a bid' for Marcus Rashford.

Borussia Dortmund is investigating a transfer for Marcus Rashford. According to the Athletic's David Ornstein, the Bundesliga club has joined the hunt for Manchester United's out-of-favour attacker in the summer. Rashford has become a peripheral character at Old Trafford with the arrival of Rúben Amorim, being dropped from four consecutive matchday lineups. He returned for a home loss to Newcastle but missed last weekend's draw at Liverpool due to illness, and his long-term chances remain bleak. Rashford has also been linked with Serie A giants Milan and Juventus, as well as many undisclosed Premier League suitors.

The most intriguing Euro 2024 quarter-final ties are listed.

It seems like only a few days ago when fans around the continent sat down to watch Germany thrash Scotland in the opening match, but the quarter-final stage of Euro 2024 is already just around the corner. This summer's tournament has delivered amazing moments and some significant scalps, but none of the competition's minnows have made it to the last eight. Instead, Europe's major boys have all advanced, with the exception of incumbent champions Italy, who were eliminated in the final 16. Not all of the continent's titans have realized their full potential in Germany, but if they want to raise the Henri Delaunay Cup on July 14, they must rediscover their mojo soon. Here are the four quarter-final ties of Euro 2024, evaluated by how entertaining they will be to watch. 4. England vs Switzerland England is the least exciting team to watch at Euro 2024. Gareth Southgate's side has been very poor, especially considering the talent available. There has been little to sug...
